Built in the mid 1920’s, Governor’s Home served as the official residence of the Governor of Wyoming during the 1930’s.
The Hon. Governor Leslie Miller used his private home and rented out the Wyoming state’s Governor’s Mansion to provide savings and revenue to Wyoming taxpayers. Leslie Miller, a former rancher and oil man, served 2 terms as Governor and was a keen botantist.
Governor’s Home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (Wyoming Place Nr 151). The home’s historical charm, architecture and design details represent the time period it was built and served as the Governor’s residence.
